FUTURE PRO FOOTBALL
The Future Pro Football Program has been specifically designed to focus on the development of the individual player, as opposed to a general team focus.
The Head Coach is Jasper Kristensen – a very experienced and highly respected coach in Australia and Denmark. Jasper has played a pivotal role in developing many players currently playing their trade in the A-League and Danish Superliga.
The program is based at Victoria University, which provides athletes direct access to modern state-of-the-art training facilities, and sits alongside ISEAL, the $68 million sports high technology teaching and research facility.
The young footballers that train at Future Pro will be within the high-performance program and have their training week and workloads managed to complement the team sessions they have with their local club team
A primary focus will be the further development of the link between technique and football intelligence, to ensure young players are composed on the ball, confident to receive in tight areas and decisive under pressure.
An additional focus will be to develop the speed, strength and power of the athletes so as they are physically equipped to compete in football at the highest levels of football and are conditioned to repeat the explosive actions required throughout the duration of a match.
Furthermore, players will be introduced to performance analysis technologies. These tools will allow them to learn about themselves and enable them to generate feedback and gain insight on their performances
